Matt Johnson CVT — Hospital Manager

Matt started with Animal Care Hospital in 2002 as a Veterinary Assistant and has since graduated from the American Veterinary Medical Association accredited Veterinary Technology Program at Joliet Junior College. In May of 2005 Matt was promoted to Hospital Manager at Animal Care Hospital and regularly attends continuing education seminars and is an active member of several veterinary organizations. He lives in Morris with his pets and is available to speak at local schools and agriculture departments about a career in veterinary medicine and responsible pet ownership.

Trisha Eaton — Certified Veterinary Dental Technician-Team Leader

Trisha has worked for Animal Care Hospital since it opened in April 1999 and has worked with Dr. Nicky since 1993. In 2002 Trisha completed certification in Veterinary Technician dentistry and loves caring of senior pets. Drake and Danika, her two children, keep her busy on a daily basis and they all love to take care of their 2 dogs and 1 cat, Ember, L.T., and Buddy. Trisha enjoys animals, music, and spending quality time with Kyle and her children.

Cindy Elberts CVT — Certified Veterinary Technician

Cindy graduated from Parkland College’s Animal Health Technology program in 1984, and began her career as a Veterinary Technician in Joliet, Illinois where she worked for 10 years. In 1994 she and her husband moved to North Carolina. Returning to Illinois 2002 she began working at the Animal Medical Clinic in Joliet and later joined the Animal Care Hospital team in May of 2006. Cindy is very passionate about her family, animals, and her work.

Julie Jones — Veterinary Assistant

Julie has been with Animal Care Hospital since January 2005, working as a customer service representative and most recently training to be a technician. She currently shares her home with a Shit Tzu, “Angel”, "Chewy" the chinchilla, a turtle, “Lucky” and the newest addition is a Australian Shephard puppy named "Triton". Julie loves being around animals and is currently attending Joliet Junior College working towards the Veterinary Technician Certification. In her free time Julie enjoys pet sitting, and spending time with her family, friends, and boyfriend.

Crystal Gibbons CVT — Certified Veterinary Technician

Crystal joins the Animal Care Hospital team with over 13 years of experience. A 2005 graduate of the Joliet Junior College Veterinary Technology program, Crystal has worked at veterinary hospitals in New Lenox, Peotone, and Arboretum View. As an active member of the Society of Veterinary Behavior Technicians (SVBT) and North American Veterinary Technician Association (NAVTA), Crystal keeps up to date with surgery, physical therapy, and behavior methods. She currently enjoys trail riding with her horses, and agility events with her dogs. In addition, Crystal and her husband share their lives with 3 dogs, 5 cats, 2 chinchillas, 2 horses, 1 fish, and a small herd of cattle.

Amber Crutchfield — Technicians Assistant

Amber joined the team at Animal Care Hospital May of 2009. She comes to us as a 2nd year Joliet Junior College Veterinary Technician student. Amber enjoys the hands on experiences she has with our clients and their pets. Amber shares her home with a golden retriever and 2 cats. In her spare time when she is not studying or working, Amber enjoys spending time with her friends, dancing, and shopping.

Donna Iverson — Customer Service

Donna has been with Animal Care Hospital since 2001, and has lived in Morris with her husband for 25 years. They have 3 children, 2 grandchildren, and share their home with Roxie, a collie, Riley, a St. Bernard mix, and Tillie a calico cat, both adopted from local Animal Control. Donna enjoys spending time with family, vacationing, shopping and scrapbooking with friends and family.

Laurie Miller — Customer Service

Laurie has been a member of the Animal Care Hospital team since September 2004. She and husband Lee live on the family farm and have two daughters and two grandsons. Laurie has been a life-long animal lover with two canine companions, Lexi and Kelly, two cats, Clueless and Bob, as well as two horses, Lily & GiGi. Laurie enjoys showing her horses in competitions where they compete in the reining and working cow horse classes.

Lorrie Lambert — Customer Service

Lorrie joined Animal Care Hospital team in March 2009. Lorrie, her husband, and their two sons relocated to the Morris area from Arizona. When not providing customer service to our clients and patients, Lorrie enjoys scrapbooking, and is an avid NASCAR enthusiast. Lorrie's family share their home with "the best mutt in the whole world", a collie/australian shephard mix named Allie.

Jacque Sluder — Kennel Supervisor

Jacque has been with Animal Care Hospital since June 2000. Before joining the Animal Care Hospital team she worked at Dogwood Kennels in North Carolina for 5 ½ years where she trained to be a groomer. Jacque shares her home with Duke, a cocker spaniel, and Knickers, a rescued stray cat.

Janet Progress — Kennel Assistant

Janet is a former volunteer at both Just Animals animal shelter and the Seneca Food Pantry in Seneca. She has been a section representative of the Seneca FFA and a former veterinary assistant at Fox Valley Veterinary Hospital in Ottawa. Her ambition in life is to complete a degree in Humane Law and become an officer with the ASPCA. She shares her life with her fiance, 1 dog, and 3 rabbits.
